From 1988 until now, Professor Ryu has published:

1)   over 282 papers IEEE and Korea domestic journals

2)    over 210 papers in international and domestic conferences.

Currently working on and has completed over 35 research projects from the Korean government, ETRI, ADD and Samsung, LG, etc.

  He has supervised successful completion 17 PhD students (2 from Vietnam and 2 from China) and 83 MSc students. Currently he is supervising 7 PhD students and 6 MSc students.

The Korean military satellite system was developed from 1997 to 2006. The Satellite was launched on 22nd August in Pacific Ocean.

Professor Ryu was deeply engaged in R/D of this Korean military satellite system for 8 years and designed some parts of the satellite communication system.
